Neomax® Latex ECO

DESCRIPTION
Neomax® Latex ECO is a waterproofing admixture as well as a bonding agent which is specially designed for mortars and concretes to improve such abilities as waterproofing, crack-resistance, corrosion-resistance and adhesion.

USED
Neomax® Latex ECO is suitable for the following uses:
As a bonding agent for concrete surface and mortars used to repair that concrete.
As an admixture for mortars and concretes to improve their mechanical and physical properties, namely: 
    - In bonding slurries;
    - In waterproofing renders;
    - In laying floor creeds;
    - In concrete repairing mortar layers;
    - In abrasion resistant linings;
    - In waterproofing concrete.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Concrete or steel surface must be clean and free from oil, grease and impurities;
The water-absorbing surface needs to be saturated but no more excessive water trapped.

WORKING OF SLURRIES
Making a slurry connecting the existing concrete layer and the new one following the ratio of Neomax® Latex ECO : Water : Cement = 1 : 1 : 4;
Average consumption: 4 m²/liter of Neomax® Latex ECO;
After mixing the product, making the slurry evenly covering the ready-prepared surface, then pour the new concrete layer or renders immediately. 

WORKING OF WATERPROOFING RENDERS OR REPAIR MORTAR
Mixture can be made according to the following ratio: 
Cement (50 Kg) : Sand (100 Kg) : Neomax® Latex ECO (5 Lít) : Clean water (Adjust to get plasticity as required) 
Maximum thickness of the waterproofing mortar layer is 2 cm/layer;
Consumption ratio: 1 liter Neomax® Latex ECO for 1 m² of mortar 2 cm thick;
50 liter Neomax® Latex ECO for 1 m³ of fresh mortar.

CURING
After Neomax® Latex ECO are applied to mortars and concretes, the finished surface must be cured strictly as other cement-based products.
