DESCRIPTION
Neomax® 820 is an one-component liquid waterproofing compound copolymer-resin-based and containing solvent. Finished layer with Neomax® 820 forms an elastomeric layer of an incredibly tensile strength, great elongation value, outstanding adhesion and crack bridging properties.
Thanks to the high viscosity, Neomax® 820 is a suitable choice for vertical surfaces.
USED
To form a perfect waterproofing and coating layer for:
Exposed roofs;
Terrace; yard;
Balconies; loggia;
Outside walls;
Green balconies; flower-beds;
Restrooms;
Basement floors and walls, pits of lifts;
Chemical tanks; sewage tanks;
Traffic, irrigation and hydropower projects.
ADVANTAGES
As an one-component product, Neomax 820 can be directly applied without any primer coating;

SURFACE PREPARATION
Any working surfaces, either new or old, ceramic tiles or normal tiles, etc, shall be grinded by specialized grinding machines before applying waterproofing layers with Neomax® 820. Then use a blower or vacuum cleaner to make the surface completely clean. Do not use water to clean the working surface;
Carefully check the working surface after grinding. Any damages must be repaired by dedicated grout;
Check the moisture content of the working surface to ensure the maximum moisture value less than 8%.
WORKING
Apply primer layer of Neomax® Primer A10 to prepaired surface of the substrate. Please refer to the updated TDS of Neomax® Primer A10 for more information and instruction;
Waiting for the Neomax® Primer A10 to be dry in at least 24 hours. Applying Neomax® 820 product with a roller, brush or specialized sprayer on the surface to be waterproofed;
Thoroughly stir Neomax® 820 in 2-3 minutes by an electric mixer after opening the bucket to get a homogeneous mixture;
At least 2-3 layers are required. In some special conditions, more than 3 layers are necessary. The first layer should be a little thinner 0.50 kg/m2. And the consumption of the following layers should be 0.75 kg/m2. The working interval between two layers is about 4-5 hours;
In case it is required to protect the Neomax® 820 waterproofing layer with a layer of sand-cement mortar or tile, it is necessary to sprinkle or spray dry sand with a grain size of 0.4 - 0.8 mm on the surface of the upper Neomax® 820 layer immediately after construction. Allow the final coating layer to be completely dry for 72 hours before applying the outer finishing layers.
NOTE
The perfect mechanical properties of Neomax® 820 are achieved fully after 28 days;
Do not dilute the product with water or any solvents;
Only working in the dry and convenient weather conditions.
