Neomax® Leveling 21

DESCRIPTION
Neomax® Leveling 21 is a ready-mixed, one component, cement-based, fast setting and self-leveling underlayment for the levelling and smoothing of different substrates prior to the application of other final finishes.

USED
For leveling new or existing surfaces prior to other application of such floor coverings as ceramic tiles, wooden floors, natural stones, carpets, vinyl flooring, etc...

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store the product in a dry, cool and well ventilated area; 
Do not expose it to direct light.

SHELF LIFE: 12 months since the production date.

MIXING RATIO
Mixing ratio of water 22 - 24% by weight;
5.5 - 6.0 liters of clean water for 25kgs of grout.

DENSITY
Fresh mixture: ~2.11 kg/liter;
Volume of ready-mixed fresh mixture is about 14.7 liters.

CONSUMPTION: 1.7 kg/m²/mm on average.

WORKING THICKNESS FOR 1 LAYER: 2 - 5mm.

WORKING TEMPERATURE: 10°C - 35°C.

Walkable hardness: 4 - 6 hours

Working time: ≤ 30 minutes

Compressive strength after 28 days (ASTM C349): ≥ 25 MPa

Flexutal strength after 28 days (ASTM C349): ≥ 5 MPa

Notes: All above technical properties are tested in the standard experiment conditions with temperature of 25^oC and moisture of 50%. 

SURFACE PREPARATION
The minimum tensile of the applicable concrete substrates must be no less than 20 N/mm². The surface must be solid and completely clean and free from dust, grease and impurities.

MIXING METHOD
Water consumption is about 22 – 24% of total volume of Neomax® Leveling 21. It is necessary to use 5.5 to 6.0 liters of water for 1 bag (25kgs) of dry product.
Use an electric mixer at speeds of 400-600 rounds/minute to mix the product;
Pour the needed volume of water into the mixing bucket, then slowly adding Neomax® Leveling 21 while keeping stirring thoroughly;
Mixing time is about 5 minutes until we get a homogeneous mixture.

WORKING
To meet the highest adhesion between the substrate and mortar layer, priming with Neomax® Primer 21 with the rated consumption of 0.2 - 0.4 liters/m2;
When Neomax® Primer 21 is still wet, applying Neomax® Leveling 21 with the support of a dedicated wiper or sprayer until the desired thickness is met;
Using spiked roller to break all remaining air bubbles;
Maximum thickness of one layer is 5mm. In case two or more layers are required, it is necessary to apply a Neomax® Primer 21 layer before making the next mortar layer;
Allowable working time is about 30 minutes at 25±2°C.
