Neomax® Dutop Grey

DESCRIPTION
Neomax® Dutop Grey is a grey cement-based floor hardener which is specially formulated from high quality cement, additives and sands. 
Neomax® Dutop Grey shall increase impact and abrasion resistance properties, minimize dust formation and provide long-term protection for concrete floors. 

USED
Neomax® Dutop Grey is suitable for such concrete floors which are required to be mechanical abrasion resistance as: 
Warehouses;
Factories;
Parking areas;
Garages;
Basement floors;
Sports stadiums.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store the product in a dry, cool and well ventilated area; 
Do not expose it to direct light.

SHELF LIFE: 06 months since the production date.

DENSITY
1.5 - 1.6 kg/liter (dry powder).

CONSUMPTION:  
4.0 - 7.0 kg/m² for surfaces with normal impact resistance;
8.0 kg/m² for surfaces with high impact resistance.

WORKING TEMPERATURE: 10°C - 35°C.

PRODUCTION STANDARD:  TCCS 07:2018/NEOMAX

Surface hardeness by Mohs scale (TCVN 6415:2005): 5 ± 1

Abrasion Resistance (TCVN 6415:2005): ≤ 350 mm³

Compressive strength (ASTM C109 / ASTM C942):
- 03 days: ≥ 40 MPa;
- 07 days: ≥ 50 MPa;
- 28 days: ≥ 60 MPa.

Notes: All above technical properties are tested in the standard experiment conditions with temperature of 25^oC and moisture of 50%. Water content in these samples is 10 - 12 % by weight of dry powder.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Application surface must be solid, sound as required.

WORKING
Evenly apply the first layer manually when the applied concrete surface is walkable and it should be looked wet. This layer requires about 2/3 of total rated volume of Neomax® Dutop Grey;
Waiting for Neomax® Dutop Grey to absorb enough moisture from concrete and its color becomes darker, immediately float the applied  surface  areas  using power float machine running at a low speed;
Apply the second layer right after finishing the first one with the remaining amount of rated volume. As soon as the second layer become darker due to penetration process, float the substrate surface area the same as the first layer's procedures;
The third layer could be applied if required. 

CURING
Finished product must be maintained properly as other cement-based products.

WAITING TIME
According to the weather, ambient temperature the kind of cement used, waiting time should be:
Pedestrian traffic : 2 - 3 days;
Ligh traffic vehicles: 7 - 10 days;
Normal traffic: 28 days.
