Neomax® Grout EHS

DESCRIPTION
Neomax® Grout EHS is a type of ready-mixed cement-based grout which has such great property as self-flowing, self-leveling, non-shrink, high strength, water-proofing and anti-corrosion and long pot life.

USED
Neomax® Grout EHS is suitable for such construction works with strict requirements of early strength as: 
Bearing pads;
Expansion joints;
Machine foundations, rail foundations;
Reinforced concrete foundations;
Anchor bolts;
Construction joints;
Joints of assembled concrete components;
Holes in concrete floor and concrete wall;
Holes and cracks;
Transportation, irrigation, civil and industrial projects with high requirements of early strength.

Neomax® Grout EHS is completely suitable for the following works: 
Transportation works: Rapid repair of expansion joints, bearing pads; quick repair of bridges and culverts on existing roads, especially highways, manholes in urban roads, and airport roads, etc...
Marine works: Construction and repair of different marine works.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store the product in a dry, cool and well ventilated area; 
Do not expose it to direct light.

SHELF LIFE: 06 months since the production date.

MIXING RATIO
Mixing ratio of water 15 - 16% by weight;
3.75 - 4.0 liters of clean water for 25kgs of grout.

DENSITY
Fresh grout mixture: ~2.19 kg/liter;
Volume of ready-mixed fresh grout is about 13.0 liters.

77 bags of Neomax® Grout EHS (25kg/bag) for 1 m³ of fresh grout

WORKING TEMPERATURE: 10°C - 35°C.

Pot life: 20 - 30 minutes

Flow table spread at initial (ASTM C230): At initial: ≥ 25 cm;

Bleeding (ASTM C940): 0 %

Setting time (ASTM C403):
- Initial: ≥ 30 minutes;
- Final: ≤ 60 minutes.

Compressive strength (ASTM C109 / ASTM C942):
- 03 hours: ≥ 30 MPa;
- 01 days: ≥ 40 MPa;
- 03 days: ≥ 50 MPa;
- 28 days: ≥ 60 MPa.

Notes: All above technical properties are tested in the standard experiment conditions with temperature of 25^oC and moisture of 50%. 

SURFACE PREPARATION
All working concrete surfaces must be completely clean and free from dust, grease and impurities;
The formwork must be installed firmly without any leakage; 
The water-absorbing surface needs to be saturated but no more excessive water trapped.

MIXING METHOD
Water consumption is about 15 – 16% of total volume of Neomax® Grout EHS. It is necessary to use 3.75 to 4.0 liters of water for 1 bag (25kgs) of dry product.
Use an electric mixer at speeds of 400-600 rounds/minute to mix the product;
It is recommended to use cold water for mixing purpose in case of hot weather. Pour the needed volume of cold water into the dry mixture of Neomax® Grout EHS;
Keep stirring until we get a homogeneous mixture, mixing time is no less than 5 minutes.

WORKING
Use the mortar mixture right after finishing the mixing work, total allowed working time is 30 minutes at the temperature of 25 ± 2°C;
Use a dedicated or free-flow pump, ensure the mortar flow to be smooth and continuous.

CURING
Finished product must be maintained properly as other cement-based products. Apply all reasonable measures to minimize any type of water loss due to evaporation by such available materials as wet bags, plastic coverage materials or other suitable maintenance mixtures.
