Neomax® Silica 90

DESCRIPTION
Neomax® Silica 90 is silica fume powder, mineral admixture, high activity, to produce concrete with special performance qualities. It improves the characteristics of fresh and hardened concrete;
Neomax® Silica 90 meets the requirements of ASTM C1240 and TCXDVN 311.

USED
Neomax® Silica 90 is used in structural concrete:
Precast concrete;
High performance, high strength concrete;
Concrete required to resist water and corrosion; 
Concrete required to resist mechanical abrasion.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store the product in a dry, cool and well ventilated area; 
Do not expose it to direct light.

SHELF LIFE: 24 months since the production date.

CONSUMPTION:  
5 - 15 % by weight of cement.

Content SiO2 (TCXDVN 311:2004): ≥ 85%.

Moisture content (TCXDVN 311:2004): ≤ 3 %.

Loss on ignition (TCXDVN 311:2004): ≤ 6 %.

Retained on 45-µm sieve (TCXDVN 311:2004): ≤ 10 %.

Accelerated pozzolanic strength activity index with portland cement at 7 days  (TCXDVN 311:2004): ≥ 85%.

Specific surface (TCXDVN 311:2004): ≥ 12 m²/g.

CONSUMPTION
5 - 15 % by weight of cement.

WORKING
Neomax® Silica 90, cement,  sand  and  aggregate  were  well mixed  together before the gauging water;
For optimum results in concrete, always use in conjunction with a superplasticiser admixtures;
Concrete using Neomax® Silica 90 should be handle, placed, and cure in the same way as conventional mixes.
